29th April 2010

Todays Slight Risk was in North Central Kansas. Not a great outlook for Tornadoes but with Temp/Dewpoint spreads very high some pretty Supercells with Large Hail would look like being the order of the Day. Left Norman (Ok) at 9am and headed towards target area which was Salina (Ks) The 1st Storms fired about 15 miles to our West and started to rocket to the NE @ 65mph! After letting a few of these race away we went back West to the Supercell of the day near Washington (Ks) chased this North and literally got 500yds into Nebraska to take some Pics before the Storm started to gust out, some Impressive Pictures none the less. Then went back South and West and let the Line of Storms overrun our Hotel in Concordia (Ks)

All in all a nice 1st Chase for the Tour 1 Guests and some great Picture Opportunities.
