Thursday 12th June 2014 - Colorado (See Text Risk)

Knowing that we had to pick up the last of the guests for Tour 4 tomorrow this was a nice local chase with some upslope easterly flow supporting marginal storms with a risk of wind and hail. Started out in NW Oklahoma from the day before and went west at Lamar towards Colorado Springs, watched a decent storm spitting out hail and Cg lightning before having dinner in the Denver area, it really was nothing more than a fun few hours watching some structure over the snow capped front range but a nice distraction on the drive nonetheless.

Above :- A Thunderstorm of half rain and half hail over the Rockies South of Denver (Colorado)
