Wednesday 7th May 2014 - N Central Texas (See Text Risk)

After landing in Dallas on Monday we set the equipment up on Tuesday and ventured out to test everything on a marginal risk day on Wednesday about 100 odd miles within the DFW Metro area. We lunched at Vernon and noticed the dryline firing a few cells to our south near Archer City. After playing with some small hail and a shear funnel or two in Graham we headed east for sunset and saw a non severe thunderstorm put on a tiny bit of structure just north of Jacksboro before the small drive back to base camp at Irving, it was just what we needed for a test day and a nice introduction for a much more substantial risk in the same area for Thursday 8th coming up.
